My Philosophy:

We all have problems and roadblocks in life.

We all start without a roadmap.

AND we all need direction — and REDIRECTION.

But we turn to different sources for help with this.

What is interesting, philosophically, is that we treat most other problems in the human experience very differently than those involving emotional growth.

For example—if yOU need to:

HAVE something CURED / fixed / REPAIRED / need to learn something.

  1. YOU go somewhere.

    2. YOU treat it or fix it or learn.

  2. TIME passes. You heal. It’s repaired. You learned.

  3. you’re discharged; you get a bill; you get a diploma.

  4. there’s optional P.T. / A follow-up appointment / GRAD school

The process does not renew each week or MONTH. YOU finish and it is done.

This is how I think you should approach finding Your PASSION and path. Or rEDIRECT YOUR life when presented with a roadblock — towards joy and success.

THIS is how I think people are best able to discover tHEIR TRUE north.

I believe in A systematic contained approach with parameters and a specific and ARTICULATED gOal.

Time and health are your most valuable assets — why wait for joy?

I believe that joy and direction are best found “DOING” —

HIKING, skiing, fishing, gardening. golfing. running, painting, building…

when you are in the woods and you feel the wind in your hair racing your snowmobile.

WHEN you hear your child laugh sledding fast down the track you built together outside.

WHEN you roll down the window and breathe in deeply the smell of freshly mowed lawn.

WHEN you add one last spice to your chili as you hear friends walking in the door.

A timeline

and a deadline.

I believe that having a timeline and a deadline is good for people.

IT helps people reach their goals easily and with more agency.

I believe that in order to really make progress charting a course,

YOU need to participate as much as possible.
